Every December, Mumbai hosts This Crazy Food Festival at Mahalaxmi Race Course and it is one of Mumbai’s most keenly awaited food and drinks festival. With over 70 food & dessert brands showcasing their best selection of food across cuisines, a cocktail bar, live music and entertainment for the kids in the Nickelodeon Kids Zone, the festival required a keen outlook for social media and branding.

For 2018’s edition, we changed the logo to make it more simple & understandable using primary colours that would appeal to all age groups. The same colour scheme was carried through our on-ground collaterals that included the entrance arches & gate designs, poster designs for partner brands, stage backdrop and signage through the festival grounds.

On social media, our objective was to spread awareness and sell tickets. So, our strategy was simple – to highlight the USP’s of This Crazy Food Festival and build a differentiating factor as compared to all other food festivals that take place in Mumbai in December. We also collaborated with a group of food bloggers who hosted digital contests on their page in the fortnight prior to the festival to increase hype surrounding it’s launch.
